Ingredients
Garlic Butter Spread:
- 120g butter, melted
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
Toppings:
- 2 hot dog buns
- ½ jar of marinara sauce/pizza sauce
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Parmesan cheese, shredded
- Brown mushrooms, sliced
- Cherry tomatoes, halved
- Pineapple chunks, fresh or canned
- Chicken ham
- Basil leaves
- Pepperoni slices
- 1 tbsp onion, minced
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- Any other desired toppings
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Prep the topping ingredients.
- Melt the butter and add into the parsley and garlic. Combine well.
- Slice the hot dog buns in half and lay them, cut side up, on a large baking sheet on the baking tray.
- Top each half with the butter mixture and a generous portion of the pizza or marinara sauce.
- Next, top with a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Add the toppings as per below:
- Hawaiian Pizza (Chicken Ham + Mushrooms + Cherry Tomatoes + Pineapples + Basil Leaves)
- Mushroom Pizza (Mushroom Slices + Minced Garlic)
- Pepperoni Pizza (Pepperoni Slices + Minced Onions)
- Tomato Basil Pizza (Cherry Tomatoes + Basil Leaves)
- Lastly, sprinkle some parmesan cheese
- Once all assembled, place the tray in the oven on 200°C for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Once done, remove from the oven and enjoy!
*You can also cut the breads in half across the middle to have more servings.
